Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Volatvio handles personal information when you visit volatvio.com, place an order or contact us. For privacy questions and requests, email info@volatvio.com.

Information collected

Depending on how you use the store, we collect contact and order information such as your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, order details and correspondence you send us. Checkout and payment providers process payment information to complete your purchase. We also receive technical and activity information such as IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed, cart activity and purchase events through Shopify and the tracking technologies used on the store.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not necessary to resolve an order or support request.

How information is used

We use information to process payments and orders, deliver digital products or physical books, communicate about purchases, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain and improve the store, meet legal obligations, and send marketing or measure advertising where permitted. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link; essential order and service messages may still be sent.

Service providers and other disclosures

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Information is processed by providers that help operate the store, including checkout and payment providers, digital delivery or shipping and fulfillment providers, customer communications services such as Omnisend, and analytics and advertising providers. We disclose information relevant to those services and may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

Shopify also processes some information for its own services. See Shopify’s Privacy Policy for information about Shopify’s role and practices.

Cookies, Meta Pixel and advertising choices

The store uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and, where enabled, measurement and advertising. When advertising integrations such as Meta Pixel are enabled, they may transmit device identifiers, browsing activity and commerce events to Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, for advertising measurement and audience features. The exact information transmitted depends on the integrations and settings in use. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Browser cookie settings and any privacy controls displayed on the store can help manage these technologies. Blocking cookies may affect some store functions. Where applicable, you can use Your Privacy Choices to request an opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. You may also email us about these rights. The privacy choices page explains available browser-signal options, including Global Privacy Control where supported and applicable. Advertising disclosures that qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under some laws can occur without an exchange of money.

Where consent is legally required for non-essential tracking, it must be obtained through an appropriate consent mechanism. This policy itself does not request or establish that consent.

Legal grounds and international processing

Where UK or European data protection law applies, relevant grounds for processing include performing a contract with you, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as operating and protecting the store where these do not override your rights, and consent where required. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Shopify and other providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

Retention and security

Information is retained for the purposes described here, taking account of order fulfillment, ongoing support, legal recordkeeping, disputes and security needs. Retention varies by the type of information and the applicable requirements. Contact us if you would like information about retention of a particular record or to exercise an applicable deletion right. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain advertising disclosures, or appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority. Not every right applies in every jurisdiction or circumstance.

Email info@volatvio.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children and third-party sites

The store and its guides are intended for adult customers. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue and take appropriate steps. Linked third-party websites have their own privacy practices.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Contact Volatvio at info@volatvio.com.
